Tom and Julie Mitchell

Owners of Fantazee Farms

When Tom and Julie were first married they had a dream - a fantasy -  of owning their own ranch. They had one horse at the time, an Arabian mare named Nite Forse, who was kept boarded at a local stable, as Tom and Julie lived in a small house in town.

Keeping this dream in the forefront of their minds, they looked tirelessly for horse property that would work. With luck, one day a few acres of bare land became available, and although they could barely afford it at the time, they recognized the incredible opportunity and took the plunge. Their dream was finally realized and Fantazee Farms was born!

The first horse on that property was their very own Nite, and as Arabian horses are known to have names uniquely spelled, The Mitchells decided to use this as inspiration. Nite’s dam was an absolutely lovely mare named ProfaZEE (i.e., prophecy), so they borrowed the spelling. Since its humble beginnings, Fantazee Farms has grown into a 15-acre, multi-use facility enjoyed by many.
